I originally thought they would be a good idea but judging by the large
scale photos, it would appear not to penetrate too well with hard-mouthed
fish. Crazy fisherman....always trying to reinvent the hook!

I have used them, I think Rick Z used them. I found
that I don't get a good hook set.   I checked out my
Mustad hooks. That hook is a 32578. I have several
sizes,will send you a few 14's with the flies.
