How aren't you ashamed of yourself bringing up an issue like this on the
board??? Byard is trying to sell his tyer's lights! Some of us have now been
trying hard to convince people that the most expensive is also the best
choice, beacause we like Byard. And here you come putting crazy ideas about
building own lights into people's heads... ON HIS OWN LIST!!!!!!

How do you sleep at nights? ;o)

Right now I use an incandescent bulb. I am considering building my own LED
fly-tying light. Has anyone on this list built their own? Any pointers?

I have done some IC and LED circuit building, but its been about five years
now since I've dabbled in electronics.
