With the traveler you will need the horizontal light, I started with the
vertical one, and you fingers get in the way of the light. The
horizontal works great for show's and in the camper.

Hi,
Looks like I need one of these LED lights for my tying class this fall.
What would you recommend for this vice? Vertical or Horizontal?
BTW - Two weeks after my second son (Adrian) was born this Memorial Day,
I can now start thinking about fly tying and fishing. Everything went
super. Now when I go fishing, I have to bring my 3.5 yr old (Liam) to
give Mom and baby a break. He has been doing great with a spincast
reel (trigger on the underside - like a spinning rod), a clear fly
bobber, and a Chili-Pepper. Of course, he doesn't know that Dad put on
a fluorocarbon leader.... Another year and we might be casting a real
fly rod - who knows....
Thanks,
Chris
