The best way to make the loop on each end is making the Shorb Loop. You can find it on the VFB site.
Just got back in from fishing Crooked Creek.Yes, I fished my 5+ year old furled leader. Headed over there about 5 PM this evening. It was a slow evening with only 24 Gills. All on the Pepper. No smallmouths. The biggest "thrill" was when I caught some movement from the corner of my eye. Turned to see a 4' Cotton Mouth's head about 6" from my leg, I just froze as it swam by. You would know I did not have my snake gun with me today, I just decided to leave it at home.
