I went fishing with Larry Johnson last night to his favorite fishing area which he calls "Paradise" and am now a believer as well. Beautiful alpine country and more 12 to 14 inch wild Brown trout than I cared to count caught with a dry fly and a dropper. Each fish was a jewel, with bright colors (the brightest red spots I have ever seen on a brown.) A perfect fishing evening. Thanks for the trip, Larry. The last time I had so much fun fishing a small stream was in Canada.
Since its Larry's place, I'll let him decide if he wants the "secret" out. But for me, I'm glad to know that a two hour drive will drop me off in fly fishing heaven.
