This isn't a fishing report, but I really wanted to go fishing yesterday. I dreamed about wading the Rayado night before last. I thought about fishing all yesterday, when Jody and I were at the ranch rebuilding a 32 foot section of our horse fence, where a drunk took it out with his F-150. You know the kind - wooden, 4 boards high with 2" X 5" stay, field wire stapled to the back side, to keep the cows from sticking their heads through. We thought it'd be easy since we built the original fence, almost half a mile of it, on our frontage road, in a couple weeks.. Now, 10 years later and me nearing age 70 and Jody 65 we worked three hours on that 32 feet and both are sore, sore sore and stiff this morning. I'm still thinking of my little Rayado Rover and just a little while, I will journey to Philmont with two of my three sons for a week in the back country and fish the Rayado all day, each day. This is what keeps me going these days, thoughts of that little river and the little rainbows. So you see, this really is fishing related!
