When I delivered furnature and bedding - the difference was 12 
inches.  A Queen sized mattress was 5'0" or 60" across, a King was 
6'0" - or 72 inches across.  I don't know what that converts to metric wise.

I need some time to ponder things, so I'll be going nomail for a

browsing through hotels,.. what is the difference between a QUEEN 
bed and a KING bed...?
