Thanks for all the replies on and off-list.  Please keep 'em coming!  We are learning some valuable things that will improve the video feed, and it's nice to know people in Denmark and Australia have seen it!

To answer some questions that were asked:

1.  The video feed is a stream, not a clip.  It is real time and goes on as long as the equipment holds up and the conditions are good.

2.  The focus can be improved a bit, but this is a streaming web video, and you know what those are like.  If you have seen a black and white highway dept. web cam, those are not sharp either.
I've gotten used to the way the web cams render, and it's almost like a moving painting of fish!

3.  The URL web address you are using to reach the streaming video will stay the same.

4.  Mike Kalpin, the Ranch manager and co-owner installed a second transmitter today, so an existing still photo web cam of the South Pond and the underwater fish cam can run simlutaneously.  That will happen within a week.  Both images will be displayed on the web site www.sugarcreekranch.com

5. The fishcam feed can now be reached from a web page:  http://www.sugarcreekranch.com/webcamform.htm

6. Best times to view the web cam currently (7/24/06) are starting at 11 a.m. and starting at 3:45 p.m., each for a couple hours.  The most fish activity seems to happen around 4 p.m. , and the lighting on a sunny day is fantastic around 5:15pm   All times are U.S. Pacific time.

7. The fish are being photo'd at a cold water seepage inlet out of casting range of the anglers.  The trout love to 'hang' in the slight current there, especially during the hot days we have been having.

Hope you have the fish cam bookmarked, and enjoy it often.
