Mountain and farm folfs, has a phrase in this country and I have found this in all of you and the best complement I can give is you all I fine are " Common Folks ". real people ,nothing to fancy and willing to give and share without asking nothing in return. There never been any discriminations , if your poor, or done well in life, if your a beginner and realize know one is a expert .if your a lady  or a regular guy or a young person ,we all are treated here with so much caring .For those that have come into my life and shared my letters and notes, bless you all and I can never give enough thanks for you all ,being part of my life and the friendships ,the friendships ,the best gift of all..........Glenn Overton..

Subject: Re: [VFB] Been here over a year

Like Mike said... 'clog on'.

When I was new here, I didn't want to ask too much. I did ask a lot, believe me... but I did have a lot of questions that I still held to myself. But once and a while I could see that there was another guy wondering about the same thing and I learned from the answers he got.

There are many on this list, around 600 I believe... but most of them are only reading. So you will not be the only one benefitting from the answers. 'Clog on'... others will be thankful.

Folks: It just dawned on Me.. I've been on here over a year now, and wanted to thank everybody for all the help, materials... Just everything.. When I got here, i thought a woolly bugger was a ............ Well, I won't go there LOL..... Anyway, I didn't even know what one was, much less how to tie one.. and I thought a Chili Pepper was ppl sticking a REAL Chili Pepper on a hook and fly fishing with it.... Anyway, I have been real busy, and haven't posted much lately.. Believe it or not, the Bluegills ARE still biting here.. I went the other day, when it had hit 106 degrees earlier that day.. I put in the boat late evening, and the water temp was 91.4 degrees, so i thought there was no way I'd catch anything but a mosquito bite.. I caught 32 gills and 4 were about 9 inches long, and at least half were hand sized or bigger.. and what made it so good, was that I caught them on a fly that I tied, thanks to the ppl  here who taught me how to tie them, sent me material to tie them, and just anything I asked, there was a great answer for.. Thanks folks....Here's to another year, and maybe I've learned enough to not clog the server with 1000 questions LOL... Chuck
