Hello,

I will host a swap - "The Secret Chili Pepper Swap" This should be
fun!!

Let's face it, we all tweak Tony's original pattern not just based upon
what we have in our fly tying material drawers, but some of us have new
an interesting variations to this pattern.

For example, I like a black tungsten heat with a trifecta of marabou:
black, burnt orange, and brown in the tail. I always find it difficult
to tie a bunch of the same peppers as little modifications are common
place with this type of fly. After all, it is a variation of a wooly
bugger.

So without further ado, let us all tie 26 of our Secret Chili Peppers (1
for Byard).

I will take the first 25 of you that respond send me email at
[EMAIL PROTECTED] Email me what Ingredient makes your Chili
Pepper Secret.

All flies need to be sent to me by December 1st. On December 2, I will
mix, swap, and mail on Dec 3rd. So international please plan for delays
and mail by early / mid November. That's right, this gives everyone
almost 4 months - almost 100 days. This means tie 1 Secret Chili Pepper
every 4 days and you will be all set.

These flies will come just in time for a wonderful Christmas present to
yourself.

Flies ship to me at:

Chris Chapman
61 Forest Lane
Boscawen, NH 03303

Include self addressed envelope, $3.00 domestic, $6.00 international
(change will be returned)

I will post all flies and pictures on the web (after I send them out) So
no need for toe tags. The website link and information will be posted
by the time you get your swap flies.

Thanks.

p.s. I will be teaching a fly tying class from September 25 - November
6th and one in February. A swap like this will help get the rust out
once I hang up the rods... And besides, getting 25 different Chili
Peppers from the VFB'ers is truly a wonderful Christmas present to
open...
