Michael.
Gary contacted me several years ago, I think it was
Philadelphia Gerry that told him about me and the WRD.
The chili pepper came into play during one of our
conversations. I started sending him reports I got on
the pepper. That got the story in his book, "Woolly
Wonders". That book has 400 versions of the Woolly
Bugger. Myself, Jerry and a couple other list members
have their flies in the book.
If you note the color of the body in Bob Roots Chili
Pepper is different. That was the original Chenille,
it was Ginger and Pearl. When it was no longer
available, I went to the Copper. Bob's Pepper had a
Fire Orange head instead of a gold bead.
I still have a bit of the original Chenille, I am sure
I have enough to tie 26 original peppers with the Fire
Orange head for the swap.
