Jimmy,
Coyotes are considered one of the few predators
that are increasing their range in the US. I know you could find them
easily withing the Los Angeles city limits when I lived there, they are found
in desert and I've seen them here in Louisiana. Exactly to how many
states they've expanded to in the US I'm not certain, because I haen't
checked the past few years. But they are extremely
adaptable.
