Believe it or not, but an 18 wheeler hauling a bunch of penguins and fish from one zoo to another flipped over in East Texas a couple weeks ago. One penguin was killed in the wreck and 3 more by a passing car. One escaped, but was later seen being put into a car with Wyoming plates, by a heavy set silver headed man, who was chuckling and dancing and clapping his hands. He was mumbling something about, "Won't Bugs be proud of me." Helluva way to get penguin feathers. ;-) The rest were gathered up and taken on to the Galveston zoo. It was reported that all the fish died, but that was inaccurate as told me by the Curator of the Waco Zoo, who was the one shipping the fish.
