Differs from place to place. But April 1:st or April 15:th to September
15:th or September 30:th seems to be very popular periods. Then of course
there are extreme exceptions. Some of the really hot places upnorth don't
open until June. Salmon and Sea Trout can also be exception species. When
the char in one water is relaxing and biting everything he can see, the Sea
Trout and Salmon in the same water might still have a reason to be picky.

But even if my waters close September 15:th, that doesn't mean 2 weeks to
me. It means 2 DAYS. Teresa is the one taking me and now, with the baby, she
doesn't feel the urge to do it more than once every weekend. So this means
two weekends left for me. This weekend and next weekend... 2 days of
fishing. Then the following weekend starts September 16:th and it will all
be over.

Hi Nick:

When does the Swedish trout & salmon season start and finish? Are coarse
(pike, perch, carp etc) fish seasons the same?

Getting very close to the LAST day here. "It's the fiiinal countdown
tadadaaadaaa... tadadattattaaaa." Only a couple of weeks left. Then it's
"fly-swap's the only thing keeping one up"-season again.
