Thanks Neville, there a not a lot of rivers here in Voctoria (Australia), but in the mountains there are a few streamas that run through the bush, which can be very pleasnt places to fish.
Tasmania has many more and I am yet to explore there..
In the lowlands the rivers do tend to be silt laden due to clearing and farm run off..
