Jimmy,
I like tying on the big hooks too. Most of my tying is trout flies and not much larger then a 16 so the bigger flies are nice. According to doctors my eye sight is excellent, however I'm noticing the smaller flies are starting to strain the eyes a little more, not that I'm getting old or anything, got a long time till that happens : ).

Yeah, I knew the harassment was at work, so I figured it I owed it to you to harass you right back. Been a long, long time since I've been harassed by the great and humble Jim Burbank. :-P

BTW, glad you're doing a steelie swap this fall.   I've meistered two over the last six years and they're always a blast.  Besides, I love to tie steelie flies.  The hooks being bigger sure make it easier on my big ole hands.

Yes indeed He is Jimmy, but the word trout gets a lot of people thinking about that 12" fish in the frying pan. Where as the beloved steelhead is a strong beast of a fish that took even more cunning then most fresh water trout to catch.

Now you do realize that I was just harassing you mostly because you just need to be harassed.

Yeah, I know.  But technically, a steelie is a sea-going Rainbow, right?  Ergo, it is a trout.  I accept your rebuke, for I don't normally call them trout either.   Twenty lashes across my nose with a big Steelie filet, basted with straight Habanero sauce. :-P

Jimmy,
First off please don't refer to Steelhead as, "Quote", "the best tasting trout". Steelhead is Steelhead, will also except, Steelie, Metal head or winter or summer chrome.
