I flew from Amsterdam too (after first getting there from Stockholm). Then to Memphis... and then to Little Rock, where Dennis Conrad and Richard Komar was waiting. Stayed at Wildcat too... very nice place to stay. Well, that week was a great experience. Fishing and tying and lying and then fishing some more... and then, when Don came to visit Tony, I finally also got to listen to some lies. And, not to forget the two new friends I made... Shiner and Root Beer.
Needless to say, it won't be the last time I go... /Nick -----Ursprungligt meddelande----- Från: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] För Martin Westbeek Skickat: den 2 oktober 2006 20:57 Till: [email protected] Ämne: Re: [VFB] Sowbug Roundup Flytying Show I attended in March 2002. I flew from Amsterdam to Dallas (6 months after 9-11, security was downright scary), and after a three hour lay-over, took a regional flight to Baxter Regional Airport (now Ozark Regional Airport). There Mike waited for me, and I, never having seen Tony, asked him if he were Tony. The look on his face was priceless... A 30 mins drive later I arrived in the Wildcat Resort. Had a great time, and one day I'll be back!
