Hans has a whole page in his site of Mustad SZ 32
flies. Several of us on the list have flies there. I
have tied a total of seven flies on the Mustads. Don't
think I can do it now any more, the eyes are getting
old. LOL

MeddelandeDon, Awesome pics.. I'm not sure of the
name brand of the one I tied..I think Deb was kind
enough to send me the hooks.. If 32 are smaller than
the one I tied, I'd never be able to tie one, or see
how anybody else could, specially any fly like that
Royal Humpy on your site.. like I said, the one I
tied was real simple.. tail hairs, thread body and
tiny hackle... No fancy stuff for Me LOL, Chuck

  Chuck,

  Check out
http://www.fantasyflies.com/portfolio.shtml and
look at the size #32 Mustad flies. We've had a lot
of threads here about the mis-match and confusion of
Tiemco's #32 hook being numbered the same size as a
Mustad #32. So if you're tying Mustad #28's, you
can tie a Tiemco #32. Now a Mustad #32- that's a
bug of a different color--- I mean size.

There's lots of other flies there for you to take
a shot at tying, also.

Now, that is a demo I'd love to see, as I'm now
up to 2.75 power reading glasses. I tied a #28 fly
on a hook last yr.. All it had was about three tail
hairs from a squirrel tail, a red 10/0 thread "body"
and a #28 hackle.. Not much "complicated" parts to
it, but I carry it in a tiny zip loc plastic bag in
my wallet to show ppl. I had to wear my reading
glasses, and my 4X Jewelers Headset, and then it has
another little 'flip down" 5X I think it is,
magnifying glass on it LOL..So, I guess all that
added up would be about 15X power..and I had a
headache for two days afterwards.. Chuck

He's not kidding. I can testify on that. Skip
gave me one at Sowbug. Woven extended body on size
#32 hook... and as that wasn't enough it also has a
spent Wallywing.

Not me,Skip Shorb will be tying them on a sz
32 hook. I am not kidding on this. It is not the
Mustad 32, it will be on the now sz 32.

From what I hear, our man Tony will be
demonstrating his Nit-Picking-Mayfly
as a featured tier on a one of a kind,
rare, Mustad size 62 hook. Sandia
Labs is bringing in a special Electron
Microscope Viewer to show it....;-)

Hope to be there my friend, and hope to be
at the Wildcat.....

We will have 60 tyers at each four hour
session, there
will be six sessions. Some tyers will tie
all
sessions, some will only tie one session.
We have
chairs on the opposite side of the table
from the tyer
for the attendee to sit and talk with the
tyer. Most
tyers give away the flies they tie, a lot
if them will
have their flies on display in front of
them. We will
have a few vendors that will be selling
flytying
materials but for the most part, the Sowbug
show is all
          flytying..
Through the day, there will be "Featured"
tyers doing
demo tying in the classrooms. A schedule
is given to
the attendee when they come in.
We also have free tying classes.
          Tony
