I do not see how you can call the man-made additions of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gasses insignificant.

A preponderance of climate scientists agree that civilization is the major cause of global warming.

A preponderance of climate scientists agree that unless they can get this message across, they will lose funding... BTW, there are many climate scientists that do not agree that civilization is the major cause of global warming.

Ice core studies have demonstrated that greenhouse gasses have not been higher for more than 10,000 years.

But greenhouse gases contribute only a small amount to the warming effect. Again, see www.junkscience.com

To call it junk science insults my intelligence. "Junk science" is just a cry to quell honest discussion. Most "Junk science" web sites ignore major trends and compare "apples to oranges".

Please take a good look at www.junkscience.com.

We have seen many extreme weather events in the last few years that are exacerbated by warm water temperatures that fuel stronger hurricanes and rain storms.

Correct. Never did I say that there was no trend in the current climate.

I am disappointed that a discussion by those who enjoy fishing in clear, cool water would be so quick to aid their destruction by ignoring the avalanche of scientific evidence.

Which there is not... And don't get me wrong, I am in favour of fishing in clear, cool water, and I am not saying that all is right with this planet. However, many environmentalist's agenda's are as antiscientific and antisocietal as e.g. PeTA.
