Jimi - very impressive. I love that translucence. I can see how the reddish
tinge comes from the red thread but it seems the ribbing also affects it. I
was wondering if you tried using tinted monofilament for the body. I have
some mono that is olive colored; I wonder if using a tinted body would dull
the translucence effect? Have to find some time to try it.

The tying instructions say that the Scud Back is "Translucent floro film
from craft store (see Pictures)." Umm, there were no other pictures so could
you explain that a little please? Is that its name: "floro film?"

Thanks, and again, a great looking fly. I can see where it would work well
for panfish as well as trout.
