I had my daughter tying flies for a few years back in the 90s actually 94 when I first got hurt and was tying for tackle shops for spare cash. My son never got into the tying but liked the fly fishing. now at 24(Jaime) and 29 (Ray jr) they would rather  camp and fish from the raft with the spinning rod and worms. They may outfish me at times, but I know they are still amazed when I catch fish on the flies I tie and watching me cast. They do get more action with the worms,,, but I think deep inside the thrill is still with the flies and I know one of these days I will be showing them to cast and strip the flie,,, then my job here will be done!!   Ray Gattus Sr
