Neville: We have then bigger around than a grown man's wrist..I don't know about tying, but I saw some college age kids with snake hooks (and they had on sandals LOL) and corn sacks, walking at the water's edge on day, and they were catching snakes.. They told me that they were students at GA Tech University , and that they were paid $50 per snake, so that the University could make antivenom.. They caught ten in less than 2 hours. They told me that that is how they paid tuition... I think I could find a better (safer) way to pay my tuition... Chuck

With more target practice, he should be able to do it with just one hole!
What size are these snakes? Are their skins ant good for fly tying (fly
fishing content)

That is the only think that scares me where I fish.. There are as many
moccasins as fish I think.. And they are MEAN.. I've had them CHASER my boat

before and had to beat em in the head with an oar..I'll tell ya a true story

about taking a .22 with ya. Years ago, my Uncle was fishing a small private
pond near here, and he was going right around the edge, when a snake fell
into his boat when he went under an overhanging limb.. He put 4 holes in the

bottom of his boat LOL....Barely got it to the bank before it went under..
