Henk: Thanks for the information re solvents for Flexament and other head cements. I know that this has often been a subject of conversation at VFB. I have a better understanding now and know NOT to use lacquer thinners for Flexament.
I actually broke down and purchased a new bottle of Flexament AND a bottle of Flexament thinners from a fly fishing shop at an extortionist price for such a minimal amount.
