OK, I will play dumb here, what is a "Wombat"?? I run standard #2 to #5 standard US traps, as well as #1 to #3 snares. I can trap a heavy line within a 1/2 mile radius of my house and probably do excellent the whole year. "No one" has trapped out here in the lat 20 or so years. As long as my legs hold out we should have some "Excellent" hides this year. That includes the "High $$ Tails". I am not counting the Badger or Raccoon that show up in traps.
I would like to build you a package that will be "Exclusive" to you "down under". In other words, make your fly fishing buds envious !!! Will keep you posted. Jimi What sort of traps do you use? The types that look like sharks teeth?? I didn't have any knife with me but wanted to skin a wombat I saw yesterday on my fishing trip. When they get hit by cars, nothing happens to the skin. They are solid muscle. You would have been the only one in the US, if not the world, to have wombat tying material. Not even I have any....yet. Take it easy, R
