Lane,
Yes and no, I tie up some sz 14 Peppers with a Fire
orange head and no weight, these I drift in the film
surface. I also tie them with a small gold bead and a
couple of wraps of lead, these I fish both dead drift
with a twitch and strip. I don't like heavy flies and
seldom fish the bottom. In the film surface I
generally fish my Stillborn Emerger, Al's Fly and
several other small flies I use.
