I'm sitting here eating my breakfast of steel cut oats and shivering as I
look out the window at masses of snow. It was -11 C outside this morning on
my personal weather station. Factoring in the wind chill, it is close to
-18 C. Roads are icy and lots of black ice. Thank goodness I don't have to
go to work today!

It is interesting how fly patterns are developed for local areas. Deb's
comments about tying some beastmasters which I am not familiar with made me
search the internet for beastmasters. I should have searched for
"beastmaster fly" as I received some strange responses to plain
"beastmaster" I eventually found Jack Gartside's pages and the beastmaster
pattern.
