Folks:: This brings up a question/problem I have had in the past.. I do have
many colors of thread, but in the past have wanted a specific shade of a
color (that I cannot seem to find anywhere online and there are no fly shops
around Me here) and didn't have it, so I just "settled" for the closest
thing I had...So, in dying thread, do you just take a spool of white thread,
and use permanent markers to color, say, a foot of thread at a time??, or
just how do you do this without unraveling a whole spool of thread???
Thanks, Chuck

Stone River only had
an olive thread which I colored brown. The results were decent.
