I just thought of another one.... If you have access to copies of old Fly
Tyer magazines there is an issue.... Spring 1998 that has a great article
about tube flies.

I find a lot of information on line. I have the book you previously
mentioned and I have a couple of books from Ken Sawada for Tube & Waddington
Shank Fly Dressing. Kens books are amazing for patterns and they also have
step by step tutorials but they are a little harder to find and more
expensive. I love them!! Another book I have is Hairwing and Tube Flies
for Salmon & Steelhead from Chris Mann. I really don't refer to that one as
much as I did Kens books and the book by Mark Mandell & Les Johnson. I was
fortunate enough to exchange a few emails with Jurij Shumakov before he
passed away and I swapped a couple of flies with HÃ¥kan Norling and that
really helped me out with the Scandinavian style of tying.
Honestly just do a google search and you will find all kinds of information
on tube flies. Use some of the names you find in book you have and search
for them on line. Search on Yuri or Jurij Shumakov tube flies and you will
find some very useful information. Warm Regards, Deb
