Good Morning Gent: I was reading Jim Williams peice on how to make fured leaders, is this the board or jig you made Jimi?I'm new at this,so here goes,i got a 6 foot board all lay out to 4 1/2 feetleader,now can i use the full board with Jim measurement 6 foot,that would give me a longer but finer tip, if not i'll go to 4 1/2 feet,also can you tell me where i can get some braided backing to make his twin walled leader loop for my fly line? tank guys and have a good day or fish and stay warm. dave

I made about 12 the first day.. My favorite is the ones I made from 6/0 clear thread. What length did you make yours??? I ask cause I like to fish with short leaders.. (Mine come out to less than 5ft long and then I add about 2.5 ft of tippet material as I hate it when the leader/tippet combo is longer than my fly rod and it started going into the rod guide eyes..
