Tip, Variety is the spice of life.
I can guarantee that the 3rd or 4th time you have sardines, or potted
meat, or corned beef hash the third time in as many days, you will start
hating seeing it and knowing that it is part of your BOB or emergency
stores in your vehicle.
While prepping my Explorer for 2 VA trips this coming week I checked my
"Variety" pack for completeness, and filled in the blank spots from extras
in the cupboard.
Tip, every time you visit a fast food place, 7-11 or other convenience
food place, ask for extra condiments, (catsup, mustard, mayo, horsy sauce,
BBQ sauce Whatever). Start saving it in the house. When you get enough
"variety of items, zip lock bag them and put them in your BOB or vehicle.
Never stop doing this.
The next time you have to snack on potted meat and crackers the third
day of a fishing trip, you will have something to add to it and make it
different.
