I guess it's all my fault. It's a "trend" I can't escape. I started 
working
at Ericsson in Söderhamn. Ericsson had been here for ages and was a part 
of
the city. It was a place which everyone KNEW would stay. But it was bought
by Emerson... and moved to China. Then I started working at Datortek, a
computer school... and now the new goverment cuts all funds to Datortek in
Sweden so it's closing down by new year. And one day I became a member of
the Gudebrod Pro Staff... and see what happens. 2 days after I tied in 
their
shirt for the first time, the sad letter was written at Gudebrod.

This is very disappointing news indeed! I have used Gudebrod rod building
threads for many years but their fly tying threads never caught on in my
part of Canada. Here, Danville was the most common fly tying thread, then
along came Uni-Thread, Wapsi Ultra thread and various others.  Some months
ago, there was a huge quantity of the Gudebrod fly tying threads available
on eBay. These were on the old "Gutterman" style spool and obviously old
stock. I obtained a good supply but in limited colours in sizes ranging 
from
G to 10/0

Hate to tell you this, I got a letter from Gudebrod
saying that they have now quit making all flytying
materials and have dropped the Pro Sraff group.
The 10/0 thread is now history.
The reason for this is , not enough profit from tying materials. Shame
