Buggs: Thanks.. But, If I have to use a "Laker" I don't think Shaq would be easy to cast LOL... Seriously, Thanks for the tips...I think I have one pack of that opalescent pearl that I got from you, but I'll get some more.. Thanks, and yeah, there is a shad called the "Alabama Shad" and i have caught a LOT of bass on those over the years.. You'd go to the dam, and use a cast net to catch live ones... Chuck

Otherwise use ponders, or lakers, or bayouers...under docks- use dockers... Actually, shad streamers are killer for bass. Awesome-hair shad are bonzer, as Reuven would say. Get the opalescent pearl from Byard. I think the Largemouth Bass here would tear those things up. Has anybody ever bass fished with them??? I learned a lot and I ordered the suggested book. I am going to make a good effort using streamers even though my comfortable way would be to nymph. I know I can catch fish that way. Thanks for all your help and DonO I am still waiting on answers to my reply to your post ;>) Mike On 12/1/06, Wes Wada <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: http://www.theflyshop.com/fly17.htm I was dinking around and happened on this streamer page at the link above. Not trying to promote The Fly Shop in Redding, Calif.! Just thought the page had a nice pictorial assortment of a variety of streamers. Wish I had a few of each!
