Wow, that's an old one! Used to get orders for that in the 80's.
Here's the pattern from the 1979 edition of "Flies of the Northwest".
Dead Chicken
Hook: 6 0r 8
Tail: Red Hackle or marabou
Body: Medium or large yellow chenille, thickness depending on hook
size
Rib: Medium or wide silver tinsel or mylar
Hackle: About six turns grizzly
Data: Developed for searun cutthroat trout in salt or tidal water.
Well, I guess you don't have searun cuts where you live, but it's a simple
pattern which doubtless has been adapted to other uses.
