The first fly that I tied and caught fish with was a pattern designed
by Linda Foote.
It was her pollywog. I often teach it to beginners. I never met
Linda in person. We did correspond by e mail. She was very helpful
to my early fly tying.

Reuven,
I knew Linda from the old list. I did get to meet her at the
Conclave in Montana. She and her friend , I forgot her name and what
they called the two as a tying team. They had planned on making the
Sowbug the year Linda passed on.
I have some of her flies.

Hi Tony:
I wanted to let you know that my brother just received the package. Thanks
many times over.
I came across some flies tied by Linda Foote of VFB. Were you familiar with
her? I saw she passed away at a young 44 y.o. back in 2001. She tied some
marvellous flies. Really gifted tier I think.
