I have a full tanned elk hide I would like to cut up and give
away. All I want is whatever it takes to cover the postage for the
amount you want.
The hair is probably 15 years old but is in good shape. I once had a
guy want to buy the whole thing; he wanted to throw it over a couch
but I talked him out of it and probably saved his marriage. It would
have shed all over the house.
But for fly tying it works fine.
Since it is a whole Elk it has a wide variety of hair: The Rump and
Mane hair is long and coarse, The leg hair is fine and stiff (good
for dry fly tails), the rest of the body is the hair we normally
think of when we think of Elk Hair. You might want to specify the
kind you want.

In addition I found the Yellow Poly Yarn that I offered to give away
last year and then discovered missing. This is heavy Macrame yarn
and works well for strike indicators. If anyone would like some of
that send a stamped SAE.
