I WANT THAT JOB!!
Run around in the beautiful trout-stream mountains and rubbing cotton swabs
on fly-hook points!

Neville it is the 200 dollar fine they pass out if they can find the
slightest barb.
SO I want to tie up some flies for the Kings River, Kern, and Hot Creek.
Any place you have to fish barb less.
I am a big fan of streamers right now
because of a six pound Rainbow I caught.
I smash all my barbs on my vice but they are getting tough even using a
cotton swab to look for the slightest barb.
Thanks Steve

Steve:

I assume that for some reason you want to obtain barbless hooks in the first
place and do not want to de-barb standard streamer hooks. I can understand
this because I believe that there can be a difference (small) in fish
holding quality between a standard streamer hook that has been de-barbed and
one that is designed as barbless in the first place. For example, some
purpose made barbless hooks have a longer incurved and sometimes offset
point than many standard hooks.

Partridge makes (or used to make) Roman Moser barbless streamer, nymph & dry
fly hooks.

Gamakatsu has some unique retainer bend barbless hooks (R10-B)

Knapek (Czech) also makes some unique incurved long point streamer hooks
which I am presently experimenting with.
