If you're tying salmon flies for fishing I would skip the Icelandic sheep hair. It's too long. I use a lot of the artic fox and I use Finnish Raccoon which is also very inexpensive. Arctic pony hair is usually marketed here under the name of Arctic runner so people don't recognize that it is horse hair. Dyed grey squirrel tails also make great hair wing salmon flies.
