Subject: [VFB] Looking for shock leader rubber

Hi VFB:

Now, if I had just kept the darned package...

I am looking to make my own shock leaders.  These are not the shock leaders
used in saltwater flyfishing, but rather a strand of durable, rubber-like
material that is placed between your flyline and leader to aborb shocks on
light tippets.

The ones I had used before were from a small company in Montana.  I think
the name of the company had the word "Bear" in it, but I cannot find
anything on Google.

If anyone is familiar with this product and especially if you know where to
find different diameters of the rubber strand material, please weigh in!

thanks,
