Excellent picture-log! We have strippers down in the Delta (near Stockton, CA) but I have never used flys for them. Now you have my juices flowing. When the snow and ice melt I will have to drive over the Sierra's and give it a go. What weight rod and reels do you use, type of line and what flys are effective?
