Glad to help Steve, hope that little place is how I remember it. I used to
hike the little nature trails there as well. Nice spot in the middle of
suburbia.

I just came off of a great weekend of bream fishing out in the everglades.
Took my wife & daughters out and everybody caught fish (except our 6 month
old who slept). My 4 yr old caught her first fish on....another little zebco
spincast outfit. :) The smile on her face was priceless. I'll write up a
report soon.

Enjoy!

Thanks Ken,

It sounds like the kind of spot I'm looking for. My brother in law talked
me into fly fishing. I did everything wrong: I bought the cheapest set up
I could at Walmart, and took about a week to figure out how to hook up
backing, line, leader, etc. Who ever heard of such crap? Too many parts!
Then I went to a little pond and learned about the back cast the hard way by
catching many trees. Finally I got a rubber spider into the water, and bam!
caught a fish. I was hooked.

I'd caught other fish, bigger fish on spinning gear, much more easilly,
but this has taken over my total interest in fishing. Catching that little
sunny on the first cast that actually made it into the water made the
difference.
