Guys,
try to minimise the private intercahnge on the list please.
The email that started the thread was interesting as it was fly fishing related. The remaiining emails were more of a private interchange..
there have been a few too many of these lately.. please send directly off list to the related parties.. Jsut cut and paste their email to the TO in the email header..
My 2nd rant in 8 years...
regards Ian

Thanks for these. The flies are spectacular, and the techniques the tying uses are good ideas for me. I'm fairly new, and these are cool. Thanks again. One other note, my son's name is Peter. and he wears green more often than not - it's his color of choice.

Steve,
There are some Step by Steps on tying "wee wets" (traditional Scottish flies) here:
Alexandra (variant) - http://www.completefisher.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2361
Green Tailed Kate McDabbler - http://www.completefisher.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2395
Green Peter - http://www.completefisher.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=90
Hope that helps
Chris

I've been reading about "wee wets," which seem to be making a big hit in New Zealand. Has anyone got any information about tying them? The only pictures I've seen have been poor ones on commercial sites that are selling the flies. Nothing about tying them.
