It's a very nice campground and is right on the famous White River in the catch and release area. The RV spots are literally within casting distance of the water. It's clean and reasonably priced and only about 20 minutes from the Sowbug. I camped there a few years ago and was quite impressed. We, Jerry and I, just drove the New Hampshire - Dallas and back trip with a stop in Broken Bow, OK to visit a ex SIL who is still a very good friend, did some really nice fly fishing at Beaver Bend State Park, caught my first trout's of the year there, I love a spot where the rules are keeper only 20" or more brown or bows and I get one! With a bald eagle and owl looking on, each had their own side of the river to look after, and they spar in the middle. The park is first class and has many camping spots, good toilet facilities(I notice this as a woman) it is stocked in areas and also has a dam flow from the bottom, so the water temps in that area should be good. I would think in summer they have some snakes though, so for me winter only! So what are my optionf for Sowbug?
