Plastic Canvas yarn is made of Nylon but it has a different texture than Lafontain's sparkle yarn which is softer with finer fibers. But you can use the Plastic Canvas yarn for a variey of things.

Also, take a look at the embroidery floss near the knitting stuff. The book "Midge Magic," uses this thread for tying midges, and there's a world of colors.

A good source of antron is, of course, Aunt Lidia's, but there is also some stuff for plastic canvas needle point. I think it's nylon, but it looks good too.

Hey Listers - in particular that use Michael's Craft Stores,

The other 1/2 and I made a scrapbooking stop at Michaels this evening
and while wondering around the store, I found that they had all of
the funky furs except FUN FUR marked down from $4-$5/ skein to $2 a
skein. I was able to pick up a nice chartreuse FUR EVER skien. I
didn't notice any buggy looking ones but that one. If they're
marking them, they might be getting rid of them - one skein is enough
for a bunch of flys. So those that use the stuff might want to stock
up. $2 is a pretty good deal I believe.
