Well, i'm back "On" for a day, back off tomorrow. My wife decided to stay in Japan for two more days and won't be home til Thurs., so. Her mom has a bum leg and she wants to be there as long as she can. Apparently it will get better, but it'll take some time. Anyway...........i have some VERY cool news. A "certain" material may be able to be had, "For Free." I'm going to ask that you contact me for more details off list though, so as not to glutter the "List." Only Salmon Fly tyers need apply, lol. The material is one of the most very expensive salmon fly materials there is, and that is why it is so exciting that it can now be aquirred for free. A certain bird is being studied and raised commercially on just a couple very particular farms in this country now, to help insure it's future. And, the people involved have agreed to collect the molted feathers, send them to a "clearing house" and that person (already a Salmon fly materials raiser/dealer) has agreed to distribute them to any salmon fly tyer who request them. Needless to say, my request is already in. You WILL be requirred to send a USPS Priority Stamp, and an address lable. The stamp is in the $5 range. As he put it, $3.95 but about to go up, so.
