Subject: [VFB] Lost My fly Tying Room/Bench

When Jody and I built this house, we built a small 8' X 8' room for me to tie flies, build rods, work on golf clubs, etc. Well, by this time next week my room will be no more. Jody is on a "house remodeling spree" and she tells me that she's giving me two more feet on my room knocking out one of my walls and also the small closet wall between my tying room and her utility room. However, she says my beautiful "watchmaker 20 drawer tying desk" and my 6' X 4' foot armoire where I keep my tying stuff are too JUNKY for what she has in mind, that she's getting rid of them. B**** ! ;-) I told her Her "hell no" ain't gonna happen. Then she said, "But, Hon, your room will be bigger. We'll put new cabinets around the bottom and all around the top. You'll have a long formica counter for rod building and another long counter on top of your new fly tying desk, that I'm designing for you." After she splained it to me, I felt a little better, but I'm still going to miss my watchmaker desk and armoire. Guess I'll relocate them somewhere in the garage. I really can't argue with Jody, for how many times have you heard of a wife building her husband a new fly tying room and new tying desk?
