Steve, if you like small patterns and would like to get a good book on the subject......?.........try Darrel Martin's Micropatterns..........he lives outwest.........i think in Washingtom state. He uses Mole hair for dubbin' on the small patterns a lot. Fishes with flies from about a #18 on down to #32's pretty exclusively. I saw him do a great slide show presentation once at the Somerset show. Very hard to see those things on the water.......for me nowdays anyway, but i guess you train yourself to look for the little dimple rises. Even here, sometimes that's all that'll work........ very little stuff......specially after the rivers have been pounded by so many anglers. Flies that small and weightless really force your presentation to be perfect, and you have to use such light tippets. It's a real challange.
