I agree with Bill totally- good ventilation is key. I do most of my lead
pouring in the summer months, outside. Recruit family and friends, and run a
production line outside at the picnic table. Put a base coat on my jigs to
prevent oxidation, then paint them whatever color I need at a later date.

Be very careful of any outdoor pouring operations. Rain or snow can ruin
your day, causing a nasty little molten lead exposion (I keep my pot covered
with aluminum foil....)

Have fun :) I tie lots of jigs with tails for walleyes, perch, panfish......

Patrik Do it mold co has the molds you need and you can get them from
barlows tackle . I have been pouring lead for many years and my dr. said as
long as i keep plenty of air maoing and do not eat or drink and no smoking
anything while pouring it's ok.I have poured maybe 6 tons of lead and never had
a bad test for it yet but i do keep plenty of air moving in my shop when i work.
