So whatever you do, just mention flies, fishing, flyrods, etc., so he don't give you 40-lashes-minus-one with a wet bucktail. And if you tell off-color jokes, make sure you use the Borger 'Off-color' System = shades of gray. And if you raise Cain, make sure you spell it cane, so it's fly-rod related.
