Noupp... you said it was easy. You never mentioned the word 'close'. In your
example you wrote that 1 degree celsius IS(!) 32 degrees Fahrenheit (not
'close to').

It's easier to sneak your way out of mistakes when they are made verbally.
When you make a mistake in an email (on a list with 600 people), you can be
sure that someone still will have it documented. And furthermore, if you
know that I am on that list, you should know better than hoping for it to
slip through.

Chuck,

Note that your formula is simple but incorrect. 1 degree Celsius is 33.8
degrees Fahrenheit. 0 degree Celsius is 32 degrees Fahrenheit...

...but with your formula:
0 * 2 + 30 = 30

Deb, Easiest way I remember the conversion is to double it (the Celsius) and

add 30.. for example.. 1 degree C is 1X2=2+30=32 F etc, Chuck

35 C We never did get used to that metric thingy here.
We did get snow and sleety rain this weekend though. My basement is
starting to flood again because the ground is so frozen that the water has
no where else to go.
On a brighter note..... The Rhode Island Saltwater Anglers show is March
30th - April 1st in Providence so fishing is just around the corner!!! Deb

Chuck

It is the end of summer in Perth, still 35 degrees this week which is better
than the snow we might get in England next week.
