Seeing all the Sow Bug posts over the past week has really depressed me - well a little. :-P Yep, had my 70th birthday in NM during Sow Bug 2007, surrounded by all my kids, their spouses and our grandkids, (20) of us, plus caught some nice trout. But, once you go to Sow Bug, and you're a red-blooded fly tyer/fisher, the Ole Sow Bug will BITE you. There's no cure for it. The itch is always there, no matter how much fun you're having somewhere else during Sow Bug time. The only way to even begin to appease the ITCH is to go back to Sow Bug. No don't get me wrong, I've never had a better birthday and I'll always treasure being with my entire family, of us all together for a week in beautiful NM. That'll probably never happen again. As much as I love Sow Bug, I love my family more. See Ya'll Next Year. They don't do special birthdays for you when you turn 71. :-D
